Tap handle markers and tap handle knobs are "shorty" designs that have a historic history and truly started the tap handle industry.
When Prohibition ended in 1933, regulations required taps to be clearly marked with a beer brand. Thus the tap knob industry was born.
Ball knobs and tap markers were the main type of tap handle used from the 1930s to the mid 1950s. They were usually simple, made of mostly resin, and displayed the logo of whatever beer was on tap.
